Brian Warner, PA-C
Here is a little bit of background information about me, if you are interested. I am originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Baseball and football were very important to me and I actively participated as a Snider Panther. I also had an interest in the medical field and took many classes to prepare me for my career after atheletics.
For as long as I can remember I have been an avid IU fan and therefore, like so many Hoosiers, I decided to further my scholastic career by attending Indiana University in Bloomington. I graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science and Biology. Following graduation, I took a year off to gain valuable experience working as an Emergency Room Technician in Fort Wayne.
During my time there, I was fortunate enough to find my kind and beautiful wife, Suzie. I truly do not know what or where I would be today without her. She means the world to me and has been so supportive and understanding throughout our years together. A man could not ask for a better wife or mother.
We eventually moved to Miami, Florida where I earned my Master of Clinical Medical Science degree and Physician Assistant training through Barry University in Miami Shores. My time spent in southern Florida has definitely heightened my experience in the healthcare field and has helped me understand many different cultural traditions and expectations. I guess it doesn’t hurt living so near to South Beach and Key West for three years to help relieve some of the stressful times throughout my intensive training.
I joined ENT Associates of Southern Indiana in 2005. Presently, I devote most of my time in a clinical specialty practice (Otorhinolaryngology) as well as assisting in head and neck surgeries. Some of my responsibilities include obtaining complete medical histories, conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting labs/tests, counseling on preventative health care, performing in-office procedures, and assisting in various head and neck surgeries. In addition, I also manage our Allergy Clinic and provide skin testing and immunotherapy for numerous patients. This position is very stimulating and challenging, and allows me to utilize my educational and clinical experience, where a good work ethic, dedication and patient compassion adds to the satisfaction and efficiency of our health care facility.
In my free time, some of my leisure activities and interests include golfing, snowboarding/wakeboarding, mountain biking, reading, camping and traveling. Suzie and I have also been blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Neely, who also keeps us quite busy, but definitely makes each and every day worthwhile.
